This
our third trip back to Backbone State Park near
Strawberry Point, Iowa. The second time we
camped in this area, we stayed at the more primitive
campground, Six Pines Campground, located just
inside the west entrance to the park. This
campground does not have any electrical sites and
has only primitive restroom facilities. It is
a bit more open, but you do have a little more room
between campsites. Also, there are a few
sites, along the parameter of the campground, that
are a bit more private if you are looking for such a
site.
