Burnet Island State Park is located about forty
minutes north-northeast of Eau Claire, Wisconsin,
and is situated along the Fisher and Chippewa Falls
River. It is a nice double campground, North
and South, situated on an island with a majority of
sites in the North that have direct access to the
water. The South Campground has the electrical
sites as well as the modern restroom facilities.
The North Campground does not have any electrical
sites but has great access to the water either on
the Chippewa Falls River side, or via two lagoons
nestled inside the island. This is a great
campground for the avid fishermen or those who love
the water.
