This was our first trip back to Castle Mound Campground in the Black River Forest in Wisconsin in nearly ten years.  We happened to come across it in our early days of camping together and it was merely a one night stay over.  We also visited the park a few years earlier during a day excursion.  We forgot how nice the park really was for camping, hiking, and exploring the area of Black River Falls.  There are also some really good opportunities for ATVing, biking, canoeing, and kayaking as well.  Also, the Black River State Forest is a really good sized area and two or three additional camping areas and quite a few miles of road that offers a wonderful driving tour.
