Modern Campground North

There are two different camping locations, at Lake MacBride State Park in Iowa, that you can choose from.  The first one is the modern campground where all sites seemed to have electricity, a couple had water hookups, and there was a modern restroom facility as well.  It is not a bad little campground within walking distance of both Lake MacBride and Coralville Lake.  There is a good sized landing and parking lot down the hill to the west, and a larger one a little further east.  The photos above are from spring of 2014.

The arrows on the map below indicate the location of the photo, as well as the direction that it was taken. The photos on this page are from June of 2013.  If you would like a more recent map, or have any questions about the campground, please follow the link below to the official website.

Non-Modern Campground South

As you can see from the photos above, which were taken the summer of 2013, the non-modern campground is a little more open, and has a wonderful view of Lake MacBride.  It also has a small boat landing and parking lot within walking distance of most campsites.  This campground does not have any electrical sites and only has the vault restroom facilities.
