Wallace State Park on northern Missouri is a gem in
hiding. Right off of Interstate 35, it is
nestled in a small valley with wonderful hiking
trails, a nice swimming hole, an many amenities that
today's camper enjoys. There are sights that
are good for groups, sites that are great for those
who want a little more privacy, sites with plenty of
sun, and others with plenty of shade. We have
visited the park twice now, but have not had a
chance to explore the variety of trails offered by
the park, but I am planning on a longer stay in 2018
for just that purpose.
