West
Idlewild is a county campground located in Floyd
County, Iowa, situated along the banks of the Cedar
River. We discovered it in the spring of 2009
and have been there a handful of times; however the
times we have visited are early spring. I do
not know how congested it may get in the summer
time, but it is a popular location with great access
to the river for fishing and canoeing.

I
did not locate a map of the campground on the
official site, but the pictures were taken as I
circled the campground, starting at the main
entrance and traveling in a counter-clockwise
