Wyalusing State Park, Wisconsin

While we have only visited Wyalusing State Park in the fall, it is a wonderful place to visit most times of the year.  There are two separate campgrounds with plenty of trails, and views of the Mississippi River Valley.  The campground above, is nestled in the woods along the ridge, and while it does not have a view of the valley, it has some really nice ravines and wonderful pine trees.

Wisconsin Ridge Campground is the one we usually stay at when visiting the park.  It is one of the only campgrounds we have found that have campsites right along the edge of the bluffs and hills, with wonderful view of the Mississippi River Valley and Prairie du Chien.  If you do plan to say, I would recommend getting a reservation, especially if you have a long drive to reach the park.  Also, please keep in mind that some of the campsites can be a bit tricky to get a trailer backed into.
