Duluth, Minnesota 2003

We took a quick tour of Duluth on our way to Jay Cooke State Park, but I would like to say you could easily spend several days exploring the area.

We did spend a little time touring the Glensheen Historic Estate.  We were lucky to get a tour of this attraction, since it usually fills up rather quickly.  After that, we stopped by the Great Lakes Aquarium and took in a couple of the harbor sites.  In the second picture you will see the draw bridge to the north entrance to the harbor, and in the last, you can see one of the many lake boats that work the lake.
