This was our second trip to Great River Bluffs in Minnesota for the July 4th weekend. Located ten miles north of La Crescent, Minnesota, the campground has numerous hiking and cross country ski trails, as well as several overlooks into the valley.

Great River Bluffs is also close to La Crosse, Wisconsin. One of the places I enjoy visiting when I'm in La Crosse is a place called Grand Dad's Bluff and it overlooks the city and river valley from the east side of the river. |

A couple side notes about this particular camping trip: This was the last time we went camping and stayed in a tent, and I didn't take as many pictures because I unfortunately came down with a fever that didn't break until halfway through the weekend. I still had a good time. |
