We made it back to Lake Darling State Park late summer of 2015.  This was the first time we had been back since the park remodel.  They did a really nice job and it was fun to explore the park.  While they offer many trails for hiking, I only explored the trail on the south side of the park near the campground.  There is still quite a bit of work that needs to be done to restore the trails, (some of them were flooded when the lake was refilled after the restoration project), but they do have very nicely groomed trails that work for all levels of hikers.
