The last stop on this trip was Itasca State Park in Minnesota. This is the head waters of the Mississippi River. I have been the this park a few times when I was younger, but I had a bit more of an appreciation for it now as an adult.

We took our bikes around the lake on this particular ride. We also got rained on and it was here that the inspiration for the name Dampened Enthusiasts came to us. |

The campsites were pretty nice as well. Plenty of room and good on privacy. |
