Back on the Shell Rock again. The park finally opened, but we were unable to go over. However, the first weekend we were able to get there proved to be a wonderful time.

The first picture above is of my continued attempt to capture that illusive night time photo. I used a tri-pod, but still couldn't get rid of the motion. Of course, the way the light shines around the trailer made up for the mistakes. The other two pictures are of life around camp. Kind of amazing that three people need three vehicles to go camping. |

I have lived here my whole life and this is the first trip I have taken down the Shell Rock River. We started in Rockfalls and it was about an hour trip down the river back to camp. Kind of a nice trip to get used to canoeing on a river. Next time we are starting in Plymouth. |
